Student Council

If you have a passion to make positive changes on campus and represent your classmates, the Student Council may be a good fit for you. The Student Council is comprised of student representatives who are elected once a year and gets involved with various matters on campus and committees. It is important to listen to the needs of the rest of the students and work with relevant organizations to make changes happen!

After completing the first two semesters, students can have the opportunity to work on campus as a work-study student. Once selected, work-study students are assigned to administrative offices as office assistants. Working hours can be flexible depending on the student’s lecture schedule, and the best thing is that students can work in between classes.

Student Clubs and Organisations

One of the best ways to get involved on campus is through student clubs and organisations. Currently, there are 10 student clubs and organisations at GUGC, with that number continuing to grow. Some student clubs are run jointly with other IGC universities. Students can join and learn more about clubs and organisations on campus through the Student Club Fair.
