겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, 예비지원자를 위한 겐트대 재학생 토크콘서트 진행
겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스는 지난 1월 14일(일) 예비지원자를 위한 겐트대 재학생 토크콘서트를 진행했다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 서울 강남에서 진행되었으며 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 입학을 희망하는 학생 및 학부모 약 110여명이 참석하여 자리를 빛냈다.
행사 순서는 ▲1, 2학년 과목 소개 및 공부 방법 소개 ▲3, 4학년 전공선택 경험 및 본교 대학 생활 ▲겐트대학교 입시요강 안내 및 입학 상담 ▲재학생 Q&A ▲1:1 개별상담 순으로 진행되었다.
수능을 마친 예비지원자는 “겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스는 공부량이 많다는 얘기를 듣고 겁먹었었는데, 재학생들의 솔직한 이야기를 듣고 겐트대 생활이 어렵지만은 않겠다는 생각이 들었다.”고 밝혔다.
입학처 관계자는 “겐트대에 대한 정확하고 진솔한 정보를 주기 위하여 이런 자리를 마련했다”며 “겐트대 예비지원자들에게 많은 도움이 되기를 희망한다.”고 말했다.

"A talk concert for prospective applicants, hosted by Ghent University Global Campus for its students."
The Ghent University Global Campus announced that on Sunday, January 14, it hosted a talk concert featuring Ghent University students for those who were considering applying. About 110 students and parents who wanted to apply to Ghent University Global Campus attended this event, which took place in Gangnam, Seoul.
The program was organized as follows: ▲ Overview of first and second year courses and study techniques; ▲ Major selection process and university life in third and fourth years; ▲ Guidance for Ghent University admissions policies and admission counseling; ▲ Q&A with current students; ▲ One-on-one individual consultation.
"I was concerned when I learned that Ghent University Global Campus required a lot of studying, but after hearing the honest stories from current students, I realized that life at Ghent University would not be as difficult,” commented a potential applicant who finished the CSAT.
"We arranged this event to provide accurate and honest information about Ghent University,” an official from the admissions office stated. "We believe that this event will be helpful to potential applicants at Ghent University.”
