겐트대 학생들, 창업경진대회 대상, 최우수상 석권
지난 24일, 인천시와 인천테크노파크(인천TP)가 주관하는 ‘제2회 인천 대학연합 창업아카데미’ 창업경진대회에서 우리 학생들이 인천 지역 대학생들 중 가장 우수한 성적을 거뒀다.
송도컨벤시아에서 진행된 이번 대회는 지역대학 간 교류·협력을 강화하고 청년창업 문화를 확산하기 위해 기획됐다.
우리 학교는 일반부에 김승연, 김승빈 학생이 ‘하이파이브’팀으로 대학생 밀착형 초소형 가전렌탈 플랫폼 ‘잠깐 빌려’를 선보였으며, 김채린 학생이 ‘BOHO’팀으로 딥페이크로부터 나를 지키는 사전 예방형 디지털 보안솔루션 ‘BOHO AI™’을 선보였고, 동아리부에 김재하, 이하연, 이혜원 학생이 ‘No Lable’팀으로 AI 기반 행동 관찰 시스템과 연계된 느린학습자 전용 자립지원 플랫폼 ‘노는스터디(No=Study)’를 선보였다.
이중 ‘하이파이브’팀이 수많은 경쟁자를 제치고 영예의 대상을 차지해 상금 200만원과 인천광역시장 상, 2026 CES 참관 자격을 받았다. 이어 ‘BOHO’팀이 최우수상을 수상해 상금 100만 원과 인천광역시장 상을 받았으며, ‘No Lable’팀이 아이디어상을 받았다.
올해 창업경진대회는 13개 대학에서 총 24개 팀이 참가해 약 3개월 동안 준비한 창업 아이템을 선보였다. 이들은 최종 3단계 평가를 거쳐 ▲창의성 ▲문제정의 ▲문제해결 기여도 ▲실현 가능성 ▲팀워크 등을 종합적으로 평가받았다.
김승연 학생은 “대학생과 사회초년생을 위해 최소 1일 단위로 소형가전을 빌려주는 초단기 렌탈 서비스를 기획, 경제성과 편리성을 동시에 제공하려고 노력했다”며 “앞으로 지역사회 청년층을 위한 플랫폼으로 서비스를 확장하고 글로벌 시장 진출을 목표로 도전해보겠다”고 밝혔다.
김재하 학생은 “소외되는 학생 문제(느린학습자)를 해결하기 위해 맞춤형 교육 콘텐츠 ‘노는스터디(No=Study)’를 개발했다”면서 “대회 준비 과정에서 활동을 수치로 정리하며 성과를 재발견했고, 다양한 인적 네트워크를 쌓으며 앞으로 더 도전하겠다는 목표를 세웠다”고 말했다.
겐트대 글로벌캠퍼스는 앞으로도 학생들이 자유롭게 대외행사에 참가하고 끼와 재능을 발휘해 빛나는 성과를 거둘 수 있도록 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다는 방침이다.

Ghent University Students Sweep Grand Prize and Excellence Award at Startup Competition
On the 24th, students from our university achieved the best results among Incheon-area university students at the “2nd Incheon University Startup Academy” Startup Competition, hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Technopark (IncheonTP).
Held at Songdo Convensia, the competition was designed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation among local universities and to promote a culture of youth entrepreneurship.
In the general division, students Seung-Yeon Kim and Seung-Bin Kim, as team High Five, presented “Jamkkan Bilyeo,” a student-centered micro-appliance rental platform. Student Chae-lin Kim, as team BOHO, introduced “BOHO AI™,” a preemptive digital security solution that protects individuals from deepfakes. In the club division, students Jae-Ha Kim, Ha-Yeon Lee, and Hye-Won Lee, as team No Lable, showcased “No=Study,” a self-support platform for slow learners linked to an AI-based behavioral observation system.
Among them, team High Five stood out from many competitors to win the prestigious Grand Prize, receiving 2 million KRW in prize money, the Incheon Mayor’s Award, and the qualification to attend CES 2026. Team BOHO followed with the Excellence Award, earning 1 million KRW and the Incheon Mayor’s Award, while team No Lable won the Idea Award.
This year’s startup competition featured 24 teams from 13 universities, each presenting startup items they had prepared over the course of three months. Final evaluations were conducted in three stages, assessing creativity, problem definition, contribution to problem-solving, feasibility, and teamwork.
Student Seung-Yeon Kim said, “We designed an ultra-short-term rental service that allows college students and young professionals to rent small appliances on a daily basis, aiming to provide both economic value and convenience. Moving forward, we plan to expand the service into a platform that supports local youth, while challenging ourselves to enter the global market.”
Student Jae-Ha Kim remarked, “To address the challenges faced by marginalized students (slow learners), we developed customized educational content called ‘No=Study.’ During the competition preparation, we rediscovered our achievements by quantifying our activities, built diverse networks, and set new goals for continued challenges.”
Ghent University Global Campus announced its commitment to continue providing full support so that students can freely participate in external events, showcase their talents, and achieve outstanding results.
