겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, 전국 주요 대학박람회 참여로 미래 인재들과 소통하다
겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스(GUGC)는 2025년 7월 한 달간 전국 4개 권역(충청권, 영남권, 호남권, 수도권)을 중심으로 개최된 대학입시박람회에 참여하며, 예비 수험생과 학부모들에게 겐트대학교의 교육 철학과 차별화된 글로벌 교육 과정을 알리는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.
대학입시박람회는 전국 각지의 고등학교 3학년 학생들을 가장 효과적으로 만날 수 있는 자리로, 대학의 인지도 제고와 더불어 실질적인 입학 상담을 통해 신입생 유치에 중요한 역할을 하고 있습니다. GUGC는 이번 박람회를 통해 예비 수험생들에게 유럽의 명문대학교 교육을 인천에서 받을 수 있는 기회를 적극적으로 소개하며 큰 호응을 얻었습니다.

7월 13–14일: 충청북도교육청 주관 박람회 (청주, 충북대학교 개신문화관)
7월 15–16일: 충청남도교육청 주관 박람회 (천안, 단국대학교)
7월 15–16일: 세종특별시교육청 주관 박람회 (세종교육청 진로교육원)
7월 18–19일: 대구광역시교육청 주관 박람회 (대구 엑스코)
7월 18–19일: 광주광역시교육청 주관 박람회 (김대중컨벤션센터)
7월 18–19일: 부산광역시교육청 주관 박람회 (벡스코 제2전시장)
7월 19일: 경기도교육청 주관 박람회 (수원컨벤션센터)
또한 7월 24–25일에는 서울 오크우드 코엑스에서 박람회 시즌에 맞춘 별도 입학설명회를 개최하여, 서울 및 수도권 학생들과의 밀도 높은 개별 상담을 통해 GUGC의 글로벌 커리큘럼과 학과 정보를 직접 전달하는 자리를 마련했습니다.
이번 박람회 시즌을 통해 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스는 각 지역의 예비 수험생과의 실질적인 접점을 넓히며, ‘Dare to Think’라는 겐트대학교의 교육 철학을 알리는 동시에, 국내 학생들에게 글로벌 교육 환경 속에서 성장할 수 있는 새로운 진로 선택지를 제시했습니다.
앞으로도 GUGC는 미래 인재들과 직접 소통할 수 있는 다양한 채널을 통해, 학생 중심의 맞춤형 입학 상담과 홍보 활동을 지속해나갈 예정입니다.
Ghent University Global Campus Engages with Future Talent through Participation in Major University Fairs Across Korea
Ghent University Global Campus (GUGC) participated in university admission fairs held throughout July 2025 across four key regions in Korea—Chungcheong, Yeongnam, Honam, and the Seoul metropolitan area. These events provided a meaningful opportunity to introduce GUGC’s educational philosophy and unique global curriculum to prospective students and their parents.
University admission fairs are among the most effective platforms for engaging with high school seniors from all over the country. They play a vital role not only in enhancing a university's visibility but also in attracting new students through direct, in-depth counseling. During these fairs, GUGC actively presented itself as a top-tier European university offering high-quality education at its Incheon campus, drawing significant attention and interest.
The key events GUGC participated in were as follows
July 13–14: Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education Fair (Cheongju, Chungbuk National University, Gaesin Culture Center)
July 15–16: Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education Fair (Cheonan, Dankook University)
July 15–16: Sejong Special Self-Governing City Office of Education Fair (Sejong Career Education Center)
July 18–19: Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education Fair (Daegu EXCO)
July 18–19: Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Fair (Kimdaejung Convention Center)
July 18–19: Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Fair (BEXCO Exhibition Center II)
July 19: Gyeonggi-do Office of Education Fair (Suwon Convention Center)
In addition, on July 24–25, GUGC held a dedicated admission information session at Oakwood Premier Coex Center in Seoul, offering in-depth one-on-one counseling sessions tailored to prospective students and parents in the capital region. This event further strengthened GUGC’s outreach efforts during the admission fair season.
Through these activities, Ghent University Global Campus deepened its connection with prospective students across the nation, while also promoting the university’s educational philosophy, “Dare to Think.” The events served as a platform to highlight new academic pathways for Korean students to pursue a globally oriented education in a local setting.
Moving forward, GUGC will continue to engage with future talent through a variety of outreach channels, offering student-centered counseling and promotional activities to help students discover their potential in an international academic environment.
