겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, 개교 10주년 기념 제3회 벨기에 문화축제 개최
겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스는 오는 24일 개교 10주년을 기념하기 위해 벨기에문화축제를 실시한다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 벨기에 문화축제는 벨기에 전통과 현대 문화를 아우르는 다채로운 프로그램이 준비됐으며 벨기에의 전통 음식과 문화를 소개하는 부스를 설치해 벨기에 문화를 깊이 체험할 수 있는 기회를 마련했다.
이 외에도 벨기에 역사와 문화를 소개하는 전시회를 열고 참가자들은 벨기에의 문화와 6.25 참전국으로써의 역사를 더욱 깊이 이해할 수 있는 문화 체험 공간을 만들었다.
다이나믹듀오, 정동하, 에이핑크 등 인기 가수의 기념콘서트 공연도 열린다.
이번 벨기에 문화축제는 송도 지역 문화적 정체성을 강화하고, 벨기에 문화에 대한 이해와 관심을 높이는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
한태준 겐트대 글로벌캠퍼스 총장은 “올해로 세 번째를 맞이한 벨기에 문화축제가 이제는 송도의 지역 대표 축제로 자리 잡아가고 있다”며 “이번 축제가 지역 주민들과의 소통을 강화하고, 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제로 발전하기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
이어 “겐트대는 앞으로도 송도 지역과의 연계를 강화하며, 지역 사회와 함께 성장해 나가겠다” 고 덧붙였다.
Ghent University Global Campus holds the 3rd Belgian Cultural Festival to commemorate its 10th anniversary
Ghent University Global Campus held a Belgian Cultural Festival on the 24th of August to commemorate its 10th anniversary.
This Belgian Cultural Festival prepared various programs encompassing Belgian traditional and modern culture, and booths introducing conventional Belgian food and culture have been set up to provide an opportunity to experience Belgian culture deeply.
In addition, an exhibition introducing Belgian history and culture was held, and a cultural experience space was created where participants could gain a deeper understanding of Belgium's culture and its history as a country that participated in the Korean War.
Popular singers such as Dynamic Duo, Jeong Dong-ha, and Apink will appear at the commemorative concert.
This Belgian Cultural Festival focuses on strengthening the cultural identity of the Songdo region and increasing understanding and interest in Belgian culture.
Tae-jun Han, the President of Ghent University Global Campus, said, “The Belgian Cultural Festival, which celebrates its third anniversary this year, is now establishing itself as a regional representative festival in Songdo.” He added, “This festival will strengthen communication with residents and will be a festival that anyone can enjoy together.” he said.
He added, “Ghent University will continue to strengthen its connections with the Songdo region and grow together with the local community.”
