[겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT)와 업무 협약 체결]
지난 4월 24일(수) 부터 26일(금)까지 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 Department of Green Chemistry and Environmental Biotechnology (GREAT) 의 Philippe Heynderickx 교수, Di Wu 교수, Viet Nguyen박사가 일본 나가오카 기술과학대학 Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) 을 방문하여 상호 발전을 위한 업무협약 (MOU)를 체결했다.
이번 협약은 ▲우수 인재 육성을 위한 학생 교환 ▲상호 간 상생할 수 있는 분야의 전반적인 공동연구 협력 ▲ 연구 정보의 공유 및 상호 자문 ▲거시적 환경 문제 대응 기여 등에 협력한다는 내용이다.
이번 협약식에 참석한 글로벌캠퍼스 Department of Green Chemistry and Environmental Biotechnology (GREAT) 관계자는 “나가오카 기술과학대학과 업무 협약을 체결함으로써 미래 협력을 위한 공동 연구 및 학술적 측면에서 많은 기회가 있을 것이라 생각되어 앞으로의 계획이 기대된다.”고 말했다.

Representatives from Ghent University Global Campus, specifically the Department of Green Chemistry and Environmental Biotechnology (GREAT), led by Professor Philippe Heynderickx, Professor Di Wu, and Dr. Viet Nguyen, undertook a significant visit to Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) in Japan from April 24th to 26th. During this visit, a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, formalizing student exchanges and research collaboration between the two esteemed institutions.
The core objective of this partnership is to enhance cooperation in research activities, promote innovation, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge between Ghent University and Nagaoka University of Technology. This collaboration not only enriches the academic communities of both universities but also contributes meaningfully to addressing global environmental challenges, reflecting a shared commitment to sustainable development and scientific advancement.
Furthermore, the MoU sets the stage for future joint initiatives, laying a solid foundation for continued collaborations that hold promise for expanded opportunities in collaborative research and academic endeavors.
