겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, (사) 인천광역시식품제조연합회와 상호 발전을 위한 업무협약 체결
❏ 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스(총장 한태준)는 (사)인천광역시식품제조연합회와 양 기관의 공동발전과 미래인재 양성을 위한 협력체계를 구축하고 식품 분야 학술 및 산업 발전을 함께 도모하기 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하였다고 27일 밝혔다.
❏ 본 행사는 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 대회의실에서 진행되었으며 (사)인천광역시식품제조연합회 우은명 회장을 포함하여 연합회 임원진 5명이 참석하였다.
❏ 이번 행사를 통해 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스와 (사)인천광역시식품제조연합회는 ▲양 기관이 상호 간에 필요로 하는 분야의 연구 및 사업화 ▲양 기관이 필요로 하는 사항에 대한 자문 ▲장학금, 인턴쉽(견학) 및 취업에 관한 협력 ▲지역사회 봉사 및 기타 양 기관이 합의하는 공동협력 등을 함께해 나갈 예정이다.
❏ 이날 진행된 협약식에서 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 한태준 총장은 “인천광역시식품제조연합회는 식품 산업에 대한 정부 지자체의 제도개선 및 지원사업들을 안내하고 새로운 소비문화 유통구조에 맞는 전략을 개발하고 실천하고 있다”며 “향후 겐트대학교의 식품공학 기술과 연계해 안전한 식품을 생산하고 제조하는 과정에 함께하자”고 밝혔다.
❏ (사)인천광역시식품제조연합회 우은명 회장은 “겐트대학교 신념인 Dare To Think와 인천광역시식품제조연합회 신념인 꿈은 현실로!와 일맥상통하는 부분이 있다”며 “겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스에서 도전적이고 창의적인 인재가 많이 육성되어 건강한 식품을 만드는 과정에 기여했으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
Ghent University Global Campus Signs MOU with the Incheon Food Making Process Association for Mutual Development
❏ Ghent University Global Campus (President Taejun Han) announced on the 27th that the university has signed an MOU with the Incheon Food Making Process Association to establish a cooperative system for the joint development of both organizations, foster future human resources, and promote academic and industrial development in the food industry.
❏ The event was hosted at the Ghent University Global Campus Conference Room and was attended by five executives of the Association, including Eunmyeong Woo, President of the Incheon Food Making Process Association.
❏ Through this event, Ghent University Global Campus and the Incheon Food Making Process Association will continue to cooperate on ▲ research and commercialization in areas of mutual interest ▲ consultation on the needs of both organizations ▲ cooperation on scholarships, internships (field trips), and employment ▲ community service and other joint activities agreed upon by both organizations.
❏ At the signing ceremony, Taejun Han, President of Ghent University Global Campus, said, "The Incheon Food Making Process Association provides information on institutional improvements and support programs for the food industry by the local government and develops and implements strategies to meet the new consumer culture retail structure," adding, "We are looking forward to partnering with the Association to produce and manufacture safe food in conjunction with Ghent University's food engineering technology."
❏ "Ghent University's mission, 'Dare to Think,' and the Incheon Food Making Process Association's mission, 'Dream is Reality!' are in line with each other," said Eunmyeong Woo, President of the Incheon Food Making Process Association. "I hope that many adventurous and creative talents will be fostered at Ghent University Global Campus and contribute to the process of making healthy food."
