겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스, 몽골 옵스도 국립 폴리트 대학 총장단 및 여성 협회 관계자 내방
지난 1월 11일(목) 몽골 옵스도 국립 폴리트 대학 총장단 및 옵스도 여성 협회 관계자 30여명이 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스에 방문했다. 이번 몽골 관계자 방문은 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 한태준 총장실 및 IGC에서 진행되었으며, 몽골 옵스도 국립 폴리트 대학의 Battogtokh.D 총장을 비롯하여, Batkhishig.B 교무회의장, Uugantsetsg.L 대외관계관, 그리고 몽골 옵스도 여성협회의 Batbaatar Erdenesuren 여성협회 회장, Batchuluun Badam 재무부장 등 30여명이 참석하였다.
이번 행사를 통해 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스와 몽골 옵스도 국립 폴리트 대학 총장단 및 여성협회 관계자는 함께 ▲ 몽골 글로벌캠퍼스 설립을 위한 방안 모색 ▲몽골 학생의 겐트대 글로벌캠퍼스 입학을 위한 계획 추진 ▲양 교 간의 연구협력(수의학과, 식품학과 등)을 위한 인적 교류 활성화 ▲기타 협력관계 활성화 등을 함께해 나아갈 예정이다.
Battogtokh.D 몽골 옵스도 국립 폴리트 대학 총장은 “수의학과 세계 1위인 겐트대학교와 함께 다방면으로 연구 협력을 강화했으면 좋겠다”며 “겐트대학교 관계자들이 몽골에 방문하는 등 인적 교류를 활성화하기를 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
한태준 겐트대학교 총장은 “겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스 및 벨기에 본교와 협력하여 세계적으로 인정받는 학과의 교육 노하우를 몽골 옵스도 국립 폴리트 대학교에 전달할 수 있기를 희망한다”고 전했다.

“The President of Uvs National Polytechnic University and Women’s Association Officials Visits Ghen University Global Campus”
About thirty representatives of the Women's Association of the Uvs Province and the President of the Uvs National Polytechnic University in Mongolia paid a visit to the Ghent University Global Campus on Thursday, January 11.
President Battogtokh.D. of Uvs National Polytechnic University, Academic Affairs Chairman Batkhishig.B., External Relations Officer Uugantsetsg.L., Finance Director Batchuluun Badam, Women's Association President Batbaatar Erdenesuren, and the members of the Women's Association of the Uvs Province were among the Mongolian officials who paid a visit to the Ghent University Global Campus President's Office and IGC.
Through this event, representatives from the women's association, Ghent University Global Campus, and the president of Uvs National Polytechnic University collaborated to: ▲ explore strategies for creating a global campus in Mongolia; ▲ promote plans for the admission of Mongolian students to Ghent University Global Campus; ▲ carry out research (such as food science and veterinary medicine) between the two universities; ▲ advance further cooperative ties in other various fields.
"I intend to enhance scientific cooperation in numerous sectors with Ghent University, the world's leading veterinary department," stated Battogtokh.D., president of Uvs National Polytechnic University in Mongolia. "I am looking forward to renewing people-to-people exchanges, such as Ghent University officials' visits to Mongolia,” he continued.
"I expect that by partnering with Ghent University Global Campus and the main university in Belgium, we will be able to transfer the internationally acclaimed department's educational knowledge to Uvs National Polytechnic University in Mongolia,” stated Ghent University President Han Tae-jun.
