GUGC Career Development
GUGC Career Development is a comprehensive support system designed to empower students in their academic and professional journey.
Its pillars function as an integrated, mutually reinforcing framework that helps students discover their strengths, develop job-ready skills, gain research and workplace experience, and receive personalized advising and career placement support.
All notices, schedules, and materials are centralized on Ufora → Campus Life Information.

Programs at a Glance

Program Focus
Career Exploration & Networking Identify strengths, clarify goals, and build connections with industry, alumni, and experts.
Career & Job-Readiness Skills Convert academic learning into workplace-ready skills via workshops, practitioner sessions, platforms, and AI-assisted preparation.
Internships, Intensive Research Training & Community Hands-on experience through (Joint) IRTP (winter/summer), external internships, research centers, and community-linked projects.
Career Advising & Placement Support Manager-led sessions and individualized guidance on planning, application documents, and interviews.

Why this works

Because the pillars run in parallel and feed one another, students don’t have to wait for a next stage to progress. Networking informs skill-building; skills strengthen internship outcomes; internships generate evidence for advising and placement; advising refines the next round of exploration—creating a continuous, reinforcing loop.
