Ghent University Global Campus currently provides two types of student dormitories for students to conveniently and comfortably enjoy their campus lives. Students may choose between the IGC Housing, located on campus, or the JEI Dormitory, located right across the street from campus, according to their preferences and lifestyles.

Eligibility to apply for student housing Current students and returning students who don’t fall under any of the ineligible groups. See below. New students, current students, and returning students who don’t fall under any of the ineligible groups. See below.
Ineligibility to apply for student housing
  1. People with infectious diseases and carriers
  2. Those who are on leave of absence
  3. Those who have been subject to disciplinary action and/or eviction for violation of dormitory rules and regulations
  4. Those whose accumulated penalty points from the previous semester exceed the limit set by the dormitory rules and regulations (JEI Dormitory)
  5. Those who apply for student housing by illegal or improper means
  6. Those whom a dormitory supervisor deems unsuitable for communal living

  7. Those whose commuting distance to school by public transportation (subway and/or bus) is within one hour during the rush hour in Incheon area based on Naver Map are ineligible to apply : Yeonsu-gu, Incheon
Housing Assignment Priorities
  1. Students with disabilities: Only those who submit a copy of the registration certificate for the disabled
  2. Foreign students: Both the student himself/herself and his/her parents are foreign nationals
  3. Korean students who come from abroad whose parents reside abroad
  4. Those requested by the university: exchange students, etc.
