겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스(GUGC)는 16일, 교내 야외 광장에서 재학생들을 위한 ‘2025 Spring Coffee Meeting’을 열고 재학생들과 함께 따뜻한 봄날의 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
이번 행사는 교학처 학생 행정실 주관으로 진행되었으며, 교수님들과 학생들, 선후배들이 커피 한 잔과 함께 자유롭게 소통할 수 있도록 기획되었다.
재학생 황수현 학생은 “신입생 때부터 커피 미팅에 참여해왔는데, 이렇게 야외에서 잘 준비해주셔서 행사다운 분위기를 느꼈고.
평소에 말 걸기 어려웠던 교수님이나 선배들과도 자연스럽게 대화할 수 있어서 의미 있는 시간이었다.”라고 소감을 전했다.
커피 미팅은 학생들 간의 유대감을 강화하고 교수진과의 소통을 더욱 가까이에서 이어나갈 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.
이번 커피 미팅을 통해서 많은 학생들이 새로운 친구, 멘토, 그리고 겐트대학교 커뮤니티 구성원들과 만나 뜻깊은 교류를 나누었기를 바라며, 이번 만남이 앞으로의 멘토십과 우정으로 이어지기를 기대한다.
한편, 겐트대학교 글로벌캠퍼스는 Belgian Cultural Festival, Career Events, Club Fair, Relaxing day등 다양한 행사를 진행하고 있으며
앞으로도 학생들이 자연스럽게 교류하고 함께 성장할 수 있는 소통의 장을 계속해서 마련해나갈 예정이다.
2025 Spring Coffee Meeting
On April 16, Ghent University Global Campus (GUGC) hosted the 2025 Spring Coffee Meeting at the university's outdoor plaza, offering students a warm and engaging opportunity to connect and communicate.
The Academic Services Office organized the event, which was designed to encourage open conversations among professors, students, and colleagues over a cup of coffee.
Su-Hyun Hwang, a current student, shared,"I've been attending the Coffee Meeting since my first year, and I could feel the event-like atmosphere this time, especially with how well it was prepared outdoors. It was a meaningful experience where I could naturally talk to professors and seniors I usually find difficult to approach."
The Coffee Meeting is a valuable opportunity to strengthen student bonds and promote closer communication with faculty members.
We hope that many students were able to meet new friends, mentors, and members of the GUGC community—and that these encounters will blossom into meaningful mentorships and lasting friendships.
Meanwhile, Ghent University Global Campus continues to host various events such as the Belgian Cultural Festival, Career Events, Club Fair, and Relaxing Day and will continue to provide platforms for students to connect, grow, and share experiences.
